UNIRAZAK formally announced the participation of SIDMA College as its Regional Centre in Kota Kinabalu and Kuching yesterday, with the unveiling of RM215,000 worth of scholarships for pioneer UNIRAZAK Sabah scholars. The University and SIDMA College in unison with Tadau Kaamatan Celebration in Sabah, also announced the sponsorship of the annual statewide Unduk Ngadau competition totalling RM120,000 which includes cash prizes and education funding for its top 3 winners.

The event that took place on the campus grounds of SIDMA College in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah was graced by En. Amil Izham Hamzah, Chief Executive Officer of UNIRAZAK and Prof. Datin Paduka Dr Samsinar Md Sidin, Vice Chancellor of UNIRAZAK which saw the handover of SIDMA & UNIRAZAK Scholarships mock cheque to Prof. Dr. Morni Kambrie, Founder and Chairman of SIDMA College as well as the handover of Unduk Ngadau Sponsorships mock cheque to YB Datuk Juil Nautim, Patron of Council of Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan Sabah 2019 and as its Committee Members, which include Hosiani Hames Jaimmis, Winner of the 2018 Unduk Ngadau.

The return of SIDMA College to UNIRAZAK this time is more meaningful as this is a bigger and better collaboration with the emphasis given to two major programmes at SIDMA College in Sabah and Sarawak, namely Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education as well as two other programmes, namely Bachelor of English and Bachelor of Business Administration with 4 (four) specialisations.

This partnership or more purposefully, the strategic ties that bind this long-time friendship, is an honour to UNIRAZAK. It is by and large because of the utmost competence and passion for the industry of higher learning, as well as the enthusiasm and devotion UNIRAZAK receives from SIDMA College that makes this a collaboration that will bring about major changes and most importantly, giving an enriching impact to UNIRAZAK Sabah students.
